The series tells the story of two siblings, who are Retornados (Returned), who are forced to separate when they arrive in Portugal in 1975. Throughout the series, we follow Isabel as she searches for her brother and navigates the challenges she encounters along the way. The narrative also highlights Luis’s journey and adaptation to a new country.
